This week my wife and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary! We were supposed to heading to the port for our first ever Disney cruise right now. Instead, we got a nice dinner to-go and watched a movie at a drive-in theatre. Not as great, comparatively speaking, but that’s 2020 for you.

However, we do have something else we can celebrate: today is the first day we can officially say, “We’re moving to Disney next year!”

Exciting, but a little scary!

I expect updates to start coming a lot more often than they did while we mostly home-bound in 2020. With a vaccine finally making the rounds (my wife, a healthcare worker, has already had her first dose!), we’re feeling optimistic about getting everything we need to do this year done.

That hopefully includes trips to Florida in March or April, sometime in the summer, then again late in the year. In those first two trips we really want to start narrowing down the area we want to be in so that during late 2021 and early 2022 trips we can begin considering specific houses!

Thanks for continuing to follow us along this journey. I know 2020 was light on posts but I didn’t want to waste time on too many filler posts. I have a feeling that in 2021 I’ll be missing all that free time the pandemic lockdowns gave us!
